How does Clinics of Hope choose a village?
We at Clinics of Hope try to be led by God in all we do. We believe that He has the
perfect plan for Clinics of Hope. We do; however, have some guidelines in effect to
use.
1. The village must be medically needy. We will not open in a village with an
existing government clinic.
2. The village must provide our building and security free of charge. Our goal is
that the community takes an ownership position in the clinic. Ultimately the clinic
benefits everyone in the community.
3. The chiefs and leaders of the community must support us and allow us to
proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We stress to the village that ALL are welcome at
our clinics. No one is turned away, all people will be treated the same.
4. The village leadership must understand and accept our financial policies.
Visits are very inexpensive and medicines are sold at cost +10% to allow for
replenishment of stock. Free care/ medicines can be given.
